Summary of the Om Namah Shivaya Mantra

 

The Om Namah Shivaya mantra or chant consists of six syllables - om, na, mah, shi, vaa, ya. When chanted properly, each syllable activates certain energy centers within our bodies as we meditate upon the energy of Lord Shiva. Shiva is often referred to as the part of the Hindu trinity which has dominion over death and destruction. Shiva is also considered the greatest of the yogis, the lord of meditation, and the lord of all that is mystic and mysterious in hindu practices. Legend has it that the holy river Ganges (or Ganga) is in fact a representation of Lord Shiva's power.

Some texts refer to the five letters as the forms of Shiva - Na-gendra (one who wears a garland of snakes), Ma-ndakini Salila (one who is bathed by the water of the Ganges), Shi (the supreme Lord), Va-shishta (one who is praised by the sages like Vashishta), and Ya-ksha (one who takes the form of Yaksha).

Om or Aum is the pranava or seed mantra of all mantras. The two syllables na- and mah- can be translated as "I humbly bow to you". The three syllables shi-vaa-ya invoke Lord Shiva and all his energies to bless us and lead us to the highest state of peace and meditation. The mantra should ideally be chanted twice a day (morning and evening) for 108 times each. The two words, namah and shivaya, are also referred to as the panchakshara (five letter) chant. It is said that those who chant these five holy letters while meditating on Lord Shiva will be blessed by visions of Shiva - the Lord of the yogis.

At this full moon we have the feminine moon in her fullness in Cancer,  facing off in opposition to the masculine energy of the Capricorn sun.  The Cancer Full Moon is larger than life as the Moon is the ruler of Cancer so the energy of the moon at this time seems enhanced and expanded.

All emotion:    The moon rules the emotions, the unconscious, memories...our inner lives.  When the moon comes to fullness, these often untapped, held in emotions and/or memories seem to explode out of us with blinding realisations and what can feel like irrational manifestations.  I am not suggesting negativity here, although as we all know, when 'the shadow' emerges from us, we can feel emotions we'd rather not feel, emotions buried in past times.  We can feel like 'lunatics' as though some kind of wild madness has gripped us.

The Full Moon offers a natural release from emotions which have held us hostage to some past reality, recreating past scenarios of pain, suffering, fear and limitation.  The movie 'Groundhog Day' where the main character gets 'stuck' in a time warp of one day, living it over and over again until he changes his attitudes and behaviours which give him the key to freedom.

During the timeframe of our activations, a Illuminati freemason group from the United States has locked itself into the Cheops pyramid, doing one ritual after another, fanatically trying to prevent the opening of the Portal. Needless to say, the Cabal has no idea about true occultism, as they have chosen the wrong pyramid. We did our activation inside the Kephren pyramid, which was always considered the true Great Pyramid. Once again my reiteration that I do not necessarily believe in all that I post /forward on to you and that still applies and perhaps more so than ever.

 Everyone will have experienced this 'great shift' activation differently, maybe with multi-expectations, or different capacities or understanding, or with intellectual, as opposed perhaps to a more spiritual, acceptance, which entails 'KNOWING' from deep within ones heart and soul; enabling perhaps a greater capacity of understanding and digesting  of any information, not only with the mental mind but as afore stated with an inner knowing that might  well recognize more the momentous shift for what it truly is and what IT WILL GROW TO BE!

For me was it indeed a most worthy experience and would wish that everyone else might have experienced a similar joy and soul recognition that afforded my personal acknowledgment in same.

Be your own teacher and allow the greater you to inwardly digest that which HAS happened, for the benefit indeed of one and all. This is something that we have been planning over thousands of years. It is now planted, just wait and see where it will awaken to and what heights...will it afford...

This year, of course, you are celebrating the start of The Age of Aquarius. Many of you are experiencing the cleansing out of all the old baggage that was used to keep you in control. This is why many of you felt so alone and abandoned. The baggage had become part of who you are, and so losing it was traumatic, for many of you. Your hearts and minds need to be free of clutter when you step into a life of freedom, when the truth of the reality in which you exist will be revealed. All is in hand to make this happen. As you know, timelines change, and obstacles are thrown in the way, but I assure you, it will happen.

So What if Nothing "Happened" On 12.21.12

I, for one, am glad it's over.  The ship did not sail, the cows are in the barn and we can all go home now.

On December 1, 2011, I began the blog as Feng Shui Serenity, which then morphed into Ascension Serenity on the home page.  The original purpose was of course to write about Feng Shui, and see how it might fit into our evolutionary process.  As a few months went by, I became excited about the messages coming in from the channels, the abundance of good information from the truther circuit and alternative sources, and soon changed the name, and the purpose, of the blog.

I was going to wrap up the blog on December 1st of this year.  But I thought why not see it through to the end and wait at least until the anticipated date of the 21st of December.  While I personally did not focus on "the date", I posted what resonated and what I felt would be mind-expanding for the readers.  What I did not expect was to gain so much insight into my own psyche, and to make terrific progress on the path.  It has been so much more that I could have expected and I am so grateful to be able to do this.  My point in all this is that I do think the flavor of the blog will now change.

But if what was predicted all these months did not transpire. what was the point to all of it?  In truth I believe that all the channels and all the love and all the positivity that was projected regarding our ascension, wealth distribution, visitations from the ETs and EDs, etc, created such a powerful, and by extension, protective shield of light and love around us, that it actually kept our asses from being blown to smithereens.

What time Is the Right Time to Meditate On 12/21?

Every time these past few days that I post something here, I think, "Okay, that's going to be it for a few days."  I feel I need to prepare for tomorrow, and that starts with cleaning the apartment.  Which probably explains why I won't get off the computer.  But I do think that this one IS the last one.  For now.  Unless, of course, aliens land on my roof.   It's the perfect landing site for them.   It's flat, large (2 city lots) and has a 5-foot high wall so no one would see them when they disembark and come down to my apartment for hot chai.  This is the visualization that I have often had, and one that I know that my cat Oscar has been waiting for with baited breath.   Speaking of cats, I have noticed ever since Sunday that this guy has been behaving differently.  He is generally close to me and follows me around.  But now it seems he has to be right near me, on the closest piece of furniture to wherever I am sitting or standing.  And then he just stares at me.   What is UP with that?  The other day he came into my meditation room and walked onto my meditation seat!   I was stunned.  Maybe he thinks I am going somewhere without him.  Not even.  I can't wait to see him when he sheds his cat uniform and reveals his light.  Also, he's been meowing at me more than usual.  Maybe he's asking, "Are we there yet?".  No, not yet.  But soon.   

Below is a message from Cobra about the best times to be in prayer/meditation tomorrow, December 21st.  I can't believe it's here.  It's like the light-worker community has started its own holiday!  

As well, in An Hours With An Angel, AA Michael has said between 10:01 and 11:11 are the best times, no matter what part of the world you are in.  He said he didn't want people to stress about figuring out where they are in relation to Greenwich Mean Time.  But Cobra has done the work for us in that regard.  Which ever one you do, it's really all good.  Or even if you are too busy with obligations at that time, you can simply call in the light and your helpers to remember you.  Take a moment to mentally participate and know that it has been taken care of.  Send in one of your angel peeps, they'd be more than happy to represent you.

Not having any messages come in for the past week or so, I thought I might experiment and call in a master and see what happens. This past week or so has been an interesting one for me. I’ve had high highs and low lows. I’m sure quite a few of my readers can say the same thing or have similar experiences. I started out with a short meditation, invoking a tube of white light for protection and then:

Yes, I can feel you in my heart. My heart chakra was burning hot as the Master began to come in.

What can I help you with tonight?

I want to thank you for leading me to the J. Stone books. They have helped clarify some issues for me. And I am enjoying making some of the invocations that are listed there.

Understand, dear one that the ascension preparation given out in those volumes is no longer valid in terms of what most people are experiencing these days. The directions were given during a time that has long since passed. The dispensations given out in the book still apply, but few people, even lightworkers are using these volumes so we approach ascension in many ways now. It is not necessary to even know about ascension in order to be qualified to take the step now.

How is that so, Raj? (Raj is a nickname which the Master prefers to be called than by his full title.)

Those people who live good lives, in service and peace, will ascend, even if they have never heard of the term. Many of these people are lightworkers, but who have not consciously woken up to their missions. They are vaguely aware that there is more to life than what they have already encountered, but are unable to discover what that might entail. Due to circumstances, some care for family members and work long hours to make a living, and do not feel that they have the luxury of making their own spiritual journey. They have made their steps along the path of ascension mostly unknowingly, yet they will rejoice when they discover one day that they have come into a new land, one filled with peace and love.

I become very pleased when I find a message that puts me to sleep.  It means that the vibration coming through is giving me something that I need, or it is vibrating higher than my earth-self, and resonating with my higher self.  When that happens, my body cannot maintain a wakeful state and I become exhausted, physically and mentally, and I simply have to go take a nap.  The energy from the message streams into my energy field, and surrounds me with a highly refined frequency.  It's exactly like being sedated, but by the softest, gentlest energy you can think of.  It's so unique, and yet, even though it has happened numerous times, it always catches me by surprise. Not to mention the quality of sleep that it induces.  I go into such a deeply internalized soulful slumber and, though it may be as short as 30 minutes, I often wake up not knowing what day it is, or if it's first thing in the morning or if I just dozed off.  And then it takes about 20 minutes for my body to feel grounded enough to want to actually get up and do something.  I really could if I wanted to, but why interrupt that blissful state?

That is what happened today when I listened to Jill speaking.  She shares what her path has been and how and from whom her messages are received.  She speaks to claiming our sovereignty,  connecting to our team of guides and balancing our contract here while honoring our connection to our multi-dimensional selves.  A warm and lovely reminder of what becoming the new human is about.  -S.C.-

How are you doing?  Are you checking in with yourselves?  Do you have a "plan" for the next few days or even through to the end of the year that you feel is in sync with the energies?  Or are you winging it and going with the flow and trusting all will take care of itself and you when Divine Providence decrees it to be so?

The intensity of information and the plethora of suggestions is a bit overwhelming regarding what this important date is supposed to mean.  When it gets like this, when I have reached my saturation point, like a turtle, I go into my shell.  There I can sort through things, figure stuff out and see what comes out in the shuffle.  Actually, it is not quite that rational or complicated an undertaking.  What I do is come full stop - I let my outer shell do the work of protecting me as I retreat into the comfort zone of my spirit and my meditation.  That is what I am experiencing right now. 

The Council of Angels ~ Why Time is Speeding Up

This message pulls together the various factors that are responsible for the illusion that time is speeding up.  If we get with the information here, it can truly place us in the moment of now, and so much of what comprises our life can begin to make sense.  I think it can help alleviate challenging and confusing issues in our life with the understanding that we are moving through a real, genuinely transformative period in time.  We don't, and shouldn't have to, carry the burden of trying to rationally understand all the whys and wherefores.  At some point it is okay to let go and realize we are being taken for a cosmic ride.   Throw your hands over your heads and shout with joy - let go of the guard rail, it's going to be a smooth ride.  -S.C.-

What should be evident is that the mass human consciousness received a great boost of energy, resulting in an expanded vision of the future. Also, that with it has come the realization that creation is the result of your projections, of your desires and intentions. As we move toward the December 21 solstice point, we find ourselves standing in the doorway of a new moment in human consciousness. Because everything in the universe is energy, the powerful alignment of the solstice point with the galactic equator marks the dawning of a dimensional shift toward a global awakening.

Awakening to the December 21st ‘Zero Point’

On the December 21 solstice point, all four meridian points or solstice/equinox points will sit at zero degrees or ‘void of course’. The Sun, Juno and Neptune will sit at zero degrees as well. Void of course is the area at zero degrees when a planet holds the energy of universal intent. The Sun and Juno are conjunct the midheaven at the point of the December 21 Solstice. Neptune enters the first few minutes of Pisces, opening the door to new and greatly expanded spiritual potentials. The universal meaning of Juno conjunct the midheaven and void of course at the December 21 solstice point is the entry to a new paradigm based on love and compassion. Everything beyond this point will carry the frequency of the new time.

With loving greetings from all souls at this station, this is Matthew to speak about the recent shooting at a school in the United States.  To consider this as a singular horrifying event is to miss the purpose of all those who agreed to be involved—the shooter, the little children and the adults who died, their families, the entire community.  

Their soul level agreement to participate in their respective roles was for the higher good of all humankind, and the participants who are in Nirvana are rejoicing about the agreement’s success.  The massacre’s profound message, now ingrained in the collective consciousness, is that the human heart and mind no longer can be inured to killing, killing, killing, no longer is humankind willing to endure it!  The shock and grief in Newtown, Connecticut, shook the world and unified people in an outpouring of prayer for everyone affected by the tragedy.

As I was getting ready to leave for a 3-day silent retreat on Friday, I put the radio on only to hear what was transpiring in Newtown, Connecticut.  At that moment, around noon, there were no official reports and very little was known.

As a teenager, until the age of 20, I spent a lot of time in Newtown.  For seven years I was a nanny and took care of four children of the same family.  The Mom was a working Mom, a nursing professor at the University of Bridgeport.  The Dad was an attorney who later became an appellate court judge for the State of Connecticut.  I was very close to them; I began babysitting when the first child was six months old, and by the time I left the job, the youngest was one year old.  I drove there from Bridgeport almost every weekend, more frequently in the Summer months, and took care of the children all day.  My favorite part was driving them to the park and taking time to watch them play, looking so sweet and joyful.   It was fun for me, too, because I got to drive us around in their family station wagon!

 Fresh energy arrives today with the New Moon in Capricorn.  It’s a brand new cycle – one that is going to find us streaking across the sky just like the Geminid meteor shower that is currently underway.  This photo was taken last night by R. Shawley in Pennsylvania and posted on spaceweather.com.  These are heavenly fireworks and we will start to make some fireworks of our own this month. 

 Using the traditional location of Earth, the exact conjunction of the Sun and Moon occurred today at 21 degrees 45 minutes of Sagittarius, and in astrology we “round up” to 22 Sagittarius.  But something is off here.  The Earth is not located where she was.  You may have seen the evidence over the last few years that the poles have shifted a bit – at least 15 minutes in my estimation.  This New Moon is actually at 23 Sagittarius.  The Sabian symbol for 23 Sagittarius is immigrants entering a new country.  This is exactly what is happening.  We are entering into a brand new world this month.  Last month’s mental journey of the visioin quest activated something in us that now puts us in new territory.

Consciousness, your fully conscious divine and eternal state, is all about experiencing the Love of our Father – His Love for You and Your Love for Him. Your consciousness expands as the felt intensity of God’s Love increases within you.

Humanity is about to move into a new state of consciousness where all will feel God’s Love growing and expanding within them, where they will realize that all that they can do is share It, and as they do It expands further, infinitely.  It is, as you can at least attempt to imagine, a most ecstatic and blissful feeling in which nothing else can ever be desired except for it to continue, as it will, forever. For humanity it is very difficult to conceive of life without wants, desires, or needs, but when you return to your fully alive and fully awakened state you will understand that completely, and delight in that knowledge.

It's Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas

Hope you had a wonderful twelve~twelve~twelve day!  I certainly did.

I started just before midnight on the 11th with a 30-minute group meditation that I decided to do at the last minute.  It was suggested that we chant Om Mani Pad Me Hum.  So I did the next best thing, I listened to a version of the mantra on You Tube being chanted by a group of monks.  I figured that was close enough.  I needed to pace myself.

Actually I am glad I did that because then I rolled  right into this morning, starting the day in Central Park, at Turtle Pond with a group of people led by Celia Finn.  Archangel Michael, who works with her, had a wonderful message for everyone.

That event was immediately followed by a talk by Celia at the United Nations.  One of their official groups hosted her and so we had another wonderful two hours listening to her and again Archangel Michael.  (Did you know that the United Nations building has a meditation room?  Neither did I.)

And this evening we had an event at the META Center with Jodi Serota and Celia Finn.  Since we were just a few blocks from where the big concert was taking place at Madison Square Garden, she asked us to align with the powerful purpose of that concert.  In this way we could contribute to even greater success and assistance for the victims of the storm.  That was pretty cool.

 I found this information to be immensely helpful, much in the way an encyclopedia is helpful. Some of it is not new and much of it is confirming and/or adding to the plethora of factoids that are/have been circulating.  A great amount of work has gone into the notes and transcription.  Gratitude to those who have dedicated their time and energy to help  getting the word out.

Of all this, I found most intriguing the introduction of the Gayatri Mantra.  It is the mother of all mantras and perhaps one of most popular and revered in India, along with Om Namah Shivaya and the famous Hare Krishna mantra.  If one performs the Maha Gayatri Mantra every day 108 times, the mind and intellect will be attuned to the Divine energy of Mother Gayatri, who will surround you at all times with Her protection of light. Traditionally one would be initiated into this mantra by one's guru.  In this way the lineage is maintained and the energy, shakti, of the mantra can become fully manifest in the recipient.  Indeed, I am pleased to know that Cobra is hip to what really works!  Om Shanti.

The four core goals for the up and coming New Age are:
