Thanks to http://galacticchannelings.com/english/NDE-2012.htmlWhile doing some research on near-death-experiences and 2012, I came across this story from somebody called Cassandra Musgrave. She tells about an NDE that she had almost 40 years ago now, in 1974. I thought it was interesting, because it confirms many things that we also hear about in the channelings. Like the divine plan for Mother Earth, the significance of the year 2012, and what the shift will be like.
As often happens, these predictions haven't turned out be exactly correct. Because, as channeled sources explain to us, there are many timelines and nobody can say what will be the definite one. That depends on our own actions and those of others. Especially with a Galactic Federation lessening the effects of Earth changes, things like a pole shift haven't come to pass, and are unlikely to do so in the near future. But in general, this story gives a pretty accurate confirmation of the things we hear from the channeled beings.
And besides that, it's a beautiful story about love and compassion :)
People who have an NDE, often come back with a completely different view on life. Cassandra was no exception. She changed her name to Martha St. Claire, and now works as a spiritual counselor and energetic healer, among other things.
This is the story of her near-death-experience:
In 1974 while water skiing with friends, she took the last run of the day. The waves were choppy, so rough that she was forced to let go of the rope. As she fell, it wrapped around her forearm, dragging her beneath the water. Her boyfriend was driving the boat, chatting and drinking beer with his friend. They didn't notice that Cassandra was down. She didn't panic, but had thoughts like: "This is a problem. I blew it this time. If I die, Mom will be really mad at me."
As she struggled to hold her breath, she felt herself rise in the air, yet she saw her body just under the surface of the water, being dragged at high speed. She saw the two men in the boat talking to each other, oblivious to what was happening to her. She saw her three-year-old son playing on the shore. Cassandra was sucked into a tunnel where she could hear swishing and clicking sounds. She traveled fast toward the light at the other end, excited, feeling she was going someplace she had once been. She came out where there were flowers everywhere, brightly colored and gorgeous. Then she found herself surrounded by the universe, out in a galaxy with stars all around her. Although she couldn't see anything solid beneath her feet, she felt like she was standing on something.
Melchizedek came up to her. He didn't identify himself, but she recognized him and knew she had always known him. In the beautiful light that seemed like liquid love, Cassandra was the best of her. She stated, "I felt free. It was wonderful seeing him!"
Melchizedek was bearded, stood eight or nine feet tall, wearing forest green, rich burgundy and gold robes with a turban-like head covering. They communicated through thoughts. He said, "Are you ready to come?"
She exclaimed, "Already?" She felt that she had made a previous contact or agreement with him. She knew it wasn't her time to die, that she hadn't accomplished all she had committed to do. She understood that people on Earth had chosen Earth, their parents, the time to be there, lessons to be learned, and their situation that was designed for each person's growth. She gained the understanding that we are not victims like we think we are; however, it takes great courage to be born on Earth at this time. Above all, she knew we were given free choice.
Although Melchizedek let her know it was acceptable that she not return to Earth, she panicked at the idea. She felt like she had flunked Earth.
Melchizedek said, "We don't see it that way."
She argued that she wanted to go back because she had more to do. She was drawn toward a border, but knew if she passed it, she couldn't go back to Earth. To her left in the distance, she saw an entrance like a cave, glowing with light that led into another dimension where people were studying and learning lots of information.
Concerning that dimension she states, "In that space you know it all."
In the other direction, she saw crystal-like buildings or temples with gold framing.
She saw that Earth was a difficult place to be right now, but there was a divine plan, and things would eventually be okay. A twenty-year span between 1992 to 2012 was a time of great transition of the Earth in preparation for the dawning of the Millennium.
She understood that Mother Earth is alive, and surges of light are sent down to help heal it because it suffers from the pollution it is exposed to, and the increments of light cause bizarre weather patterns. She saw more frequent earthquakes, large tidal waves, a polar shift and the ice caps breaking up and melting. She saw the Earth's surface changing, and many people dying, often in large numbers because they couldn't handle the light and its consequences, and they chose to do die because their souls needed further growth in another sphere. She saw people who had prepared themselves spiritually and were protected, while those around them died. She saw three days of darkness. She also understood that catastrophes could be lessened or delayed through the power of prayer.
She says we have spiritual amnesia, having forgotten the knowledge we possessed before birth; there is a higher consciousness for each of us, and it is important that we connect with God through prayer and meditation to be awakened. She defines prayer as talking to God, and meditation as listening to Him.
Melchizedek showed Cassandra what would happen if she chose to die. She saw her body carried to shore where she was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation without success. Her boyfriend was crying, and she knew he would feel guilty for the rest of his life. She saw her son and knew she couldn't leave him yet. She didn't want people to suffer because of her untimely death, and because she had spiritual work to do, she chose to return to Earth.
Cassandra found herself back in her body that had a will of its own. It was panicked and fearful. Coughing and sputtering, she surfaced behind the stopped boat, and yelled, "Don't you idiots see, I'm drowning?"
As they reached shore, her son said, "What took you so long, Mommy? I thought you were never coming back."
She knew that somehow he was aware of more than her 10-minute trip around the lake.
After her NDE, energy stayed with her for some time, and she could see auras around people. She didn't talk about it much because others were uncomfortable with her story or didn't understand. The longing to find the divine spirit she experienced during her NDE, led her for the next twenty years on an inner journey of spiritual study that included ministerial training through the Unity Church.
