OCTOBER 4TH 2013 – NEW MOON IN LIBRA (7:34 PM)
New Moons bring new beginnings, and in Libra it is a great time for
new beginnings in relationships, creativity and to bring balance into
all areas of your lives. New Moons are also the most spiritual and
intuitive moons of the whole Lunar cycle. Each New Moon brings with it a
down load of evolutionary energies to give us the knowledge to create a
beautiful future. It is a wonderful time to manifest, meditate and
create! Remember that the New Moon energy last a day and half on each
side of the peak. This Libra new Moon is about balance, love,
creativity, and to create equal give and take relationships as we learn
to treat everyone as equals.
Libra (balance, law,
relationships, equal give and take, and the arts) is ruled by Venus
(love, the feminine, and creativity.) It is also central in Mayan
cosmology and also with the ancient indigenous peoples…. making Venus a
very important planet. During this New Moon….Venus (feminine energy) and
Mars (male energy) are squaring each other… the square can bring
friction and stress but it can also be a growth aspect. This again is
bringing an emphasis on the balancing (Libra) between the feminine and
male energies, the yin and yang, the right and left brain, and the light
and the dark etc……giving us the energy to grow towards this
balance…..so we can have harmony in our relationships and peace in the

Cardinal Grand Cross that has formed, with the actual New Moon (Sun and
